About Us

The Message of the Cross Australian Churches Network ​(TMOTC-ACN) is an united movement of Pentecostal cross-​preaching churches. Each individual church is autonomous, ​but agrees to collaborate with other churches in the ​movement for mutual support and the propagation of the ​gospel in Australia and around the world.

The Message of the Cross - Family Worship Centre Ipswich ​was a local church that was founded and organised in 2020 in ​Australia by the network. They recently changed their name to ​The Cross of Calvary Church Ipswich and have experienced ​consistent growth and stability from year to year. In our ​congregations, you will find compassionate, loving Christians ​who express their love for the Lord Jesus Christ through ​anointed praise and worship in Spirit and Truth, as well as ​through caring relationships.

TMOTC-ACN are devoted to the Word of God, evangelical, ​and Pentecostal, and their mission is to connect individuals to ​Jesus Christ.

What we ​believe

• The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.

( Ps. 119; Mat. 4:4; Lk. 24:27 )

• There is one God, eternally co-existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, ​and God the Holy Spirit. ( I Jn.5:7 )

• In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin Birth, in His Sinless Life, in His ​Miracles, in His Vicarious and atoning Death, in His Bodily Resurrection, in His ​Ascension to the Right Hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this Earth in ​Power and Glory to rule a thousand years.

• In the Blessed Hope - the Rapture of the Church at Christ's Coming. ( I Thess.4:13-18 )

• The only means of being cleansed from sin is through Repentance and Faith in the ​Precious Blood of Christ. ( Rom.5:1;Eph.2:8-9,13-18 )

• Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal Salvation. (Jn.3:5-​8;Titus 3:5)

• The Redemptive Work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body in ​answer to believing prayer. ( Ex.15:25-26;James 5:14-15;I Pet.2:24 )

• The Baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to Believers who ask ​for it.

• In the Sanctifying Power of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is ​enabled to live a holy life. ( Rom.6:3-14;8:1-2,11 )

• In the Resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to Everlasting Life and the ​other to everlasting damnation. ( Rev.20:5-6,11-15 )

Our Story

Two Aboriginal women, mother and daughter Venus and Louise De Busch from ​Cloncurry, Queensland, founded the ministry in 2018. With a ministry of evangelism, ​they both came to place of total surrender, sitting still, and fellowshipping at home, ​until they received that Word to go forwards.

In 2019, they initiated home fellowships in Springfield, then established the annual ​'The Cross of Christ Revival Rally Australia' with the first rally scheduled for June 2020; ​however, COVID prevented this from occuring. The doors were immediately opened to ​fellowship around a campfire at Deebing Creek Mission, and the group has since ​expanded to meet in an arcade on 7 Bell Street. They established Crossfire Support ​Services, a non-profit charity organisation in the heart of Ipswich, Queensland, ​opening its doors in May 2020 and expanding gracefully, with a large donation of ​clothing and kitchen pre-loved goods from a wonderful father and daughter who ​hosted their home fellowship. Evangelism through the provision of food hampers, ​soup kitchens, support services, food hampers, and pre-owned clothing, including ​kitchen equipment, was without a doubt inspired by the Holy Spirit.

In 2022, after relocating to Blackstone Store and opening Beulah Servo & Cafe, we were ​open for approximately 13 months. Despite our fervent prayers for funding to establish ​a community centre, no such funding materialised. Thus, we were forced to close our ​doors. Nonetheless, the work of God continues regardless, church services and food ​hampers still continue in the Churchill suburb.

The Word they received to establish things was all they would be responsible for until ​God sent someone else to take over. However God has set us up in leadership, they will ​continue to hold the banner, which is the Word of God. "We want to invite you to join ​us in fellowship. If you do not currently attend a church, please consider joining us. ​Venus and Louise assert that God is about to perform a great deed in Ipswich, ​throughout Australia.

Building ​Together

The Message of the Cross Australian Churches Network arose from the deep desire of ​Christians of all denominations to reach the nation with the Good News of Jesus Christ. ​It was realised that much can be accomplished when Churches and Ministries unite ​under the Holy Spirit's anointing to attack Satan's strongholds.

This is why The Message of the Cross Australian Churches Network was established - ​to channel the efforts of Churches and Preachers from all over Australia into a unified, ​effective plan to reach the lost and dying with the Gospel.

God's Call to save the lost is unmistakable. The Message of the Cross Australian ​Churches Network is responding to this Call, and we invite you to join us. This is not a ​religion, and we hope it never becomes one. It is a fellowship of Ministers and ​Churches united in their efforts to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the ​world.

Prayerfully look over this material and consider whether you should join a team with ​the Call to disciple Believers and evangelise the lost.

How can The Message of the Cross Australian Churches Network reach Australia?

Probably few organizations on Earth are as experienced and well-equipped to reach ​the entire Australia as is The Message of the Cross Australian Churches Network. The ​following vehicles needed to accomplish this monumental task are already in ​operation.

A local Cross-preaching Church -This network has established a local church in ​Ipswich and Mount Isa Queensland, which has been operating for three years and is ​expanding. The church has produced three female preachers, one of whom teaches ​the Message of the Cross. Now, our goal is to build up the body of Christ, to save souls, ​to train them, and to send them out.
